Primary duty of a Customer Care coordinator is to provide excellent Customer Care. Working with the Customer Care Team as well as the Palletline Team. Managing and developing relationships with your colleagues to support them in their daily challenges.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Being a key support role to the Customer Care and Palletline teams by ensuring that we;

a. Achieve KPI performance targets with clear KPI reporting aligned to the operation

b. Ensure we always proactively address our customers challenges and issues, providing solutions, preventing failures from occurring, and taking action to prevent problems from reoccurring

c. Deal with customers in line with both our core values but with an understanding of theirs also

d. First point of escalation for the customers/depots if concerns around our service

e. Full and comprehensive understanding of the Palletline Charter as this role will include full responsibility for managing Service Depot failures.

  • To report any issues or concerns to your Manager as and when they arise.
  • Hold Quarterly 121’s with Customer Care Team analysing their performance to assess strengths and development areas and agree support/training required. Refer and track against your appraisal objectives.
  • Produce and analyse daily/weekly/monthly stats relating to our Palletline and partner performance, as well as Customer deliveries/collections
  • Support Palletline team in completing necessary duties where required, ensuring processes are followed.
  • To review Customer spend and KPI service levels and escalate any concerns as well as proposed solutions/actions to Service Excellence Manager.
  • Act as an escalation point for customer complaints and investigate and resolve any customer issues, then escalate where necessary to Service Excellence Manager and Palletline and Partner Manager.
  • Communicate in a professional manner with customers, Palletline depots and partners by telephone, email, letter and face to face contact.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the company. The long term objective is progress this role to grow with the company into a management role. Working patterns will need to be flexible in line with business requirements.

Suitable Candidates Will Have:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the loading of the vehicle so that products are safely loaded and secured to minimise chances of damage.
  • Ensure with Contracts Operation Manager and Loader, that the load is correct against the customers’ orders.
  • Ensure that on arrival the delivery is safe to make and respect customer’s property; if in doubt, consult with the customer and/or Contracts Operation Manager.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Handle customer issues on delivery effectively and contact Contract Operation Manager for assistance if required.
  • Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a timely and safe manner.
  • Complete vehicle daily inspection sheet and give to Contract Operations Manager.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the Company Standards of Performance and Health and Safety Policy.
