As an apprentice you will be working as a part of the Warehouse team to ensure the smooth process of orders, delivering good standards of customer service and ensuring high levels of stock integrity. We are looking for a keen team player that is ready to learn on the job. Great communication and a proactive approach to problem solving are essential. Main purpose of the job:   

To provide an efficient and effective service to both Customers and to Palletline and Partner depots delivering excellent customer care and achievement of the following key measures:                                       

  • Achievement of KPI targets for partner deliveries
  • Satisfied customers
  • Retention & growth of business with partners

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that we consistently provide excellent customer care to our customers, by ensuring that we;
  1. Ensure we always proactively address our customers challenges and issues, providing solutions, preventing failures from occurring, and taking action to prevent problems from reoccurring
  2. Deal with customers in line with both our core values but with an understanding of theirs also
  3. First task of the day to check all own customers deliveries via partners are out for delivery
  4. Check all partner deliveries are on track and take any necessary action to ensure excellent customer service
  5. Last task of the day is to check all partner deliveries have been made for own customers and we have delivered theirs. Take any necessary action to ensure excellent customer service
  • Communicate in a professional manner with customers, Palletline depots and partners by telephone, email, Contrado and face to face contact.
  • Booking in deliveries we are making on behalf of Palletline and Partners. And upload any required paperwork.
  • Support Palletline calls and messages in completing necessary duties where required, ensuring processes are followed.
  • Investigate and resolve any queries, problems or complaints, undertaking root cause analysis and agreeing corrective actions.
  • Maintain up to date and accurate records of customer/depot discussions and all correspondence.
  • Reporting on performance for both Palletline depots and Customers as required. Support Service Excellence Manager producing KPI’s, forecasts and call stats via Wildix and PowerBi.
  • Manage international and Irish bookings ensuring all necessary customs is correctly completely.
  • Attend Quarterly 121’s with the Service Excellence Manager to assess strengths and development areas and agree support/training required. Refer and track against your appraisal objectives.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe working environment. Ensure you maintain a high level of health & safety standards and follow all company procedures in relation to health & safety.
  • Undertake other general administration duties, including any assigned duties accurately and in full.

Job Overview

The Warehouse Site Manager is responsible for the overall management of the FGH site and the stock held within it. They will be the point of contact for higher level customer communication such as Forecasting, KPI/SLA meeting and other projects and ultimately must manage client relationships to facilitate excellent service. The role should ensure that we manage, plan and control warehouse resources and activities to maximise efficiency and stock integrity. The role is a high profile one ultimately responsible for management of the site and all staff upon it, in line with the culture and behaviour strategy of the business.

The site manager will then be responsible for cascading relevant comms down to the team. They will also act as a first point of escalation for any issues that occur on site.

Required skillset/ experience:-
