Overview - Are you looking to get qualified as a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative? This is an amazing opportunity for someone to pick up some new skills and gain a recognised qualification.

During your time as an apprentice, we will also fund your FLT licence.

As an apprentice you will be working as a part of the Warehouse team to ensure the smooth process of orders, delivering good standards of customer service and ensuring high levels of stock integrity. We are looking for a keen team player that is ready to learn on the job. Great communication and a proactive approach to problem solving are essential. You must also be able to adhere to our Standard Operating Procedures for both the admin duties and warehouse duties that you will be responsible for.

We are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Administrator to join our team at the Woodlands Warehouse, BD4 6SE. 

For this role ideally previous experience in warehouse administration would be advantageous. You should be comfortable with the daily use of the Microsoft suite, specifically Word and Excel. Organisation and communication are key to be successful in this role. You will ensure the standard operating procedures are followed, answer queries via telephone/email, input all incoming/outgoing stock into the WMS and assist with general admin duties.

Hours: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £13.15 p/h

For this position we are looking for a HGV Class 2 driver with experience completing multidrop runs, in a professional and timely manner.

A full CPC, Digi card and a Class 2 licence are required for this role. There are no fixed start or finish times with this role, therefore we are looking for a person who has a flexible approach to working hours. This role would be fantastic for driver who is comfortable working on their own.

You must ensure the highest level of customer service is delivered at all times. Your role will primarily be multidrop of palletised goods through the Palletline network. A full CPC, Digi card and a Class 2 licence are required for this role.

Base location: Premier Point, Staithgate Lane, BRADFORD, BD6 1DW

Hours: 50 p/w Monday to Friday. Start times around 07:00am however flexibility required.

Finance Team

Salary: £35,000-£40,000

We are looking for an Management Accountant to join our Finance team. You will report to the Head of Finance, this role is responsible for the management of the transactional Finance team, including overseeing the Goods In Transit claims process. The role should contribute towards accurate and timely reporting outputs that internal/external stakeholders require, supporting informed business decision making.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Weekly P&L preparation and interrogation
  • Month-end duties including divisional recharges, fixed assets, journals, accruals and prepayments
  • Verification of contracted and open book customer charging inclusive of preparation for invoicing
  • Assisting with the preparation of the management accounts and annual budget processes
  • Ensuring that all financial controls are in place and making sure all accounts are audit proof
  • Business partnering with the wider finance team and liaising with non- finance individuals
  • Carrying out variance analysis and completing various weekly / month end reports
  • Posting regular lease / DD invoices and setting them up as recurring where necessary
  • Assist in ensuring all revenue is received and all queries resolved within the central billing process
  • Support month end closure by ensuring correct cut offs are observed / implemented including Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support of the Audits including quarterly bank and annual accounts audit.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties

The successful candidate should fit the following criteria:-

  • Appropriate financial qualifications i.e. CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
  • Operational finance knowledge, including monthly management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow reporting.
  • Experience in producing management accounts and month end procedures,working to associated deadlines.
  • An interest in process improvement and in cost and variance analysis.
  • People Management experience required including 1-1’s, appraisals etc.
  • Demonstrates the ability and capacity to develop productive relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel skills including look ups, pivot tables and advanced formulae.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly and professional manner.
  • A solution finder, capable of effectively working through problems.
