Neil is the Managing Director of Expect and his work history has been dedicated to driving the business forward and building the brand
His vision is to make Expect the best in industry sector and renowned for quality and the way in which we do business
His is overly enthusiastic about Huddersfield Town, his mad Bassett Hound Scooby, live music including his hero Morrissey, eating out and playing squash.
He has a very strange phobia of sharing food.

Andy is Expect Distribution’s Operations Director, which means he is responsible for our Contract operations, our Distribution and Transport division and our Warehouse operations, as well as managing IT.
Andy has been with the business since November 2015, prior to that he spent over a decade working in a wide variety of Logistics roles (you wouldn’t think he looks old enough would you?!).
In his spare time, Andy enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters, as well as running and seeing live music.
Suzanne joined Expect in 2009 and has over 20 years’ experience of working in Human Resources in a variety of different industries including, Hotels, Retail and Logistics.
Suzanne’s responsibilities include managing the recruitment and selection process for the Company, training/development, implementing policies and procedures and employee relations.
Suzanne enjoys travelling abroad, socialising and trying to keep fit and goes to the gym on a regular basis along with walking and yoga. One of Suzanne’s main achievements recently was to carry out the National Three Peaks with some of her colleagues from work, she is now keen to find her next challenge!
Customer Relationship Manager, Gemma has worked at Expect for 6 years, initially in Sales and Marketing before moving to the Traffic Office to manage Customer Care, Palletline and Evening Admin teams.
Gemma manages our external complaints procedure and monitors service to customers and Palletline depots with a view to consistently exceeding targets and providing an excellent service.
Gemma’s sales background is beneficial in understanding the specific requirements of each of our customers and playing a key role in the sale to customer transition.
Gemma has 3 Children, a husband and a cocker spaniel and she describes her home life as crazy, but fun but she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Chris has worked for Expect Distribution since the tender age of 16. Leaving school and committing 12 years of hard labour. Chris is an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and all round nice colleague, constantly putting smiles on people’s faces.
Chris has always aspired to become a department manager and through hard work and commitment he has achieved his goal at our Premier Point warehouse facility with 9500 pallet locations in a 100,000sqft warehouse.
Outside of work Chris enjoys socialising with friends and spending time with his family. Chris has recently taken up mountain biking and is contemplating returning to the gym.
Daniel has worked at Expect since October 2011 where he joined the Low Moor Site as Administrator, within 6 months due to the sites expansion he moved to become the Warehouse Manager on site and in February 2017 he gained promotion to Warehouse Manager at our Premier Point site.
In his spare time Daniel enjoys spending time with his family.
Craig is our longest serving Manager having been with the company for nearly 17 years.
Originally starting as a Traffic Office Operative he quickly progressed to be the Palletline Department Manager. Craig spent many years learning about Palletline rules and procedures whilst maintaining regular customer and Palletline depot contact.
Now our Administration Manager Craig manages the customer accounts and tariffs on our company software, providing statistical and financial reports to the Directors whilst remaining involved in Palletline procedures and documentation providing staff support and training where required.
Craig enjoys walks with the family and watching one of his daughters play football in his spare time.
Jack is Assistant Transport Manager at Expect and has worked here for 5 years.
He is key to the distribution and traffic operations across the business and is the youngest member of our management team. Jack holds an International CPC qualification.
Expect has seen Jack take on many roles within the company. Starting at grass roots as an Apprentice Driver, progressing swiftly onto planning, traffic, supervisory roles and now Management continuing to gain extensive knowledge of the business and the industry.
Jack’s keen interest is all things motorised such as off-roading. This makes him a keen, motivated, driven individual who offers real time solutions daily.
Rob joined Expect in December 2018 as the new Head of Contract Logistics. Rob’s role is to oversee the Contract division. He studied Transport and Logistics at Huddersfield University and once graduated he started working within the industry.
Rob has 5 years’ experience with 3PL and has worked across a variety of roles.
Rob spends his weekends watching Bolton Wanderers and enjoying time with family and friends.
Martin joined Expect in January 2018 as Warehouse manager for storage at their Premier Point site.
His background has always been warehousing and prior to this Martin worked at Eddie Stobart for 14 years.
As a father of 6, all of Martin’s spare time is taken up spending time with his family.
Steve joined Expect in 2018 as the Transport Operations Manager. He has years of experience in the logistics industry and started his career as a Class 1 Driver delivering JCB’S across Europe.
Steve then went on to work for a large distribution company as a Logistics Supervisor and worked his way up to Operations Manager for a large blue chip client. He spent 15 years on various contracts across the country for the company and then moved on to further his career.
Steve is an avid Stoke City supporter and when he is not watching the Potters compete, he is an amateur Motorcycle racer.
