Festive Period Service 2023 / 2024

Expect Distribution wishes to inform all customers of our dates of closure and the services available over the forthcoming Festive period. We are offering a full collection and delivery service over Christmas and New Year to meet our customers’ requirements.

Please Note :- Collections required on the 27th & 28th December must be input before 5pm the working day prior to guarantee collection.

Saturday	16/12	Normal Saturday service available – offices close 12 Noon.
Monday	18/12	Normal collection & delivery service available.
Tuesday	19/12	Normal collection & delivery service available.
Wednesday	20/12	Normal collection & delivery service. Last collections for Economy delivery on 22/12 or any available delivery day thereafter. Offices open as usual.
Thursday	21/12	Normal collection & delivery service. Last collections for Next Day delivery on 22/12 or any available delivery day thereafter. Offices open as usual.
Friday	22/12	Final Pre-Christmas deliveries. Last collections for delivery on 23/12 (AM) or any available delivery day thereafter. Office closure time TBC, intended to be as early as reasonably practicable once we have completed all our duties for our Customers, Palletline & Partners.
Saturday	23/12	Normal Saturday service available – offices close 12 Noon.
Monday	25/12	No Service – offices closed.
Tuesday	26/12	No Service – offices closed.
Wednesday	27/12	Normal delivery service available. Collection service operating for consignments input on the 22/12 or prior. Offices close 5 pm, but calls will be diverted once all drivers have completed collections and deliveries successfully.
Thursday	28/12	Normal delivery service available. Collection service operating for consignments input on the 27/12 or prior. Offices close 5 pm, but calls will be diverted once all drivers have completed collections and deliveries successfully.
Friday	29/12	Normal delivery service available. No collections. Offices close 3 pm, but calls will be diverted once all drivers have completed deliveries successfully.
Saturday	30/12	Normal Saturday service available – offices close 12 Noon.
Monday	1/1	No Service - offices closed.
Tuesday	2/1	Normal service resumes with full collection & delivery service.

Warehousing Hours

Our warehousing sites will be open during the below stated hours but operating with a reduced number of staff over the Christmas period. Warehousing Account Managers will be making personal contact to discuss our customers warehousing requirements over the festive period.
