Expect employees to volunteer in the local community
On Wednesday 23rd September Expect employees Kirsty Maginnis, Steph Gibson and Andrew Howard head down to Brighouse to assist in sorting through the mountain of donations made to the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice over the last few months.
The hospice appealed for volunteers on their social media sites shortly after Expect announced that all employees are entitled to 1 paid volunteer day each year to help out in our local community, as part of their new and improved employee benefits package.
Gemma Bentley, Sales and Marketing Manager said ‘We have worked with the hospice for many years now and it’s great to be able to help out where we can, especially during such difficult times when they need our support more than ever before. The response when I communicated this volunteering opportunity to colleagues was fantastic and really does demonstrate the relationship we have built up over the years’
The Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice deliver pioneering Care through pregnancy, childhood and loss, whenever families need them and whatever the future holds.
We would love to hear from you
