Expect Distribution offer to route plan for local hospice Christmas tree collection

Overgate Hospice are based in Calderdale having been in operation in 40 years only relying on donations and support from the local community.  They are a local hospice to us here in Yorkshire, and they came to us asking if we might help them as we have done for many years now.

Overgate have a tree recycling campaign coming up in January where they collect Christmas trees all around Calderdale from people’s houses in return for a donation. In previous years they have collected around 1400 trees and raised £17,000.

They made contact with us at Expect Distribution, asking if we would be willing to volunteer to help route the routes for collections of the trees. And of course, we said we would be happy to help, which they were absolutely delighted with.

Here’s hoping we can help Overgate reach and go beyond their donation goal of last year, watch this space!
