We are proud to announce the opening of our purpose built £9m Distribution and Warehousing facility situated adjacent to the M606 in Bradford.
The new centre opened on 16 March 2009 and stands on a 8 acre site, offering 100,000sq. ft of quality warehousing, equipped with high bay, narrow aisle racking which increases the overall capacity of the warehousing arm of the business to 18,000 pallet spaces.
The phenomenal growth of the Distribution sector of the business will be now expertly managed within a custom designed cross-docking area allowing us the capability of loading or unloading 15 vehicles undercover at any given time, in addition to 4 docking areas for goods arriving via container from overseas.
Operations Director Neil Rushworth said “This really is a Logistics centre second to none in the Yorkshire area. The investment has been driven by the continued support of our loyal customer base which is constantly expanding. After years of successfully delivering their goods, we have now delivered them a building which will ensure that their freight is handled by using the most professional and efficient methods possible and being right on the motorway network allows us to offer even more flexibility in meeting their requirements.”
